Contoura

High Performing Thermoformable Composites
Contoura prepregs and finished composite panels combine the benefits of Acrodur resin with a variety of natural, recycled, or synthetic fibers. The use of thermoset and thermoplastic grades of Acrodur resins provide a wide range of performance features from
increased thermo-mechanical stability, increased rigidity, and up to 20% lighter weight than other nonwoven fiber composites. These properties and more make Contoura an ideal fit for aerospace applications.

Safety and Flammability
Contoura’s feature customizability enables it to meet flammability and safety requirements as needed. Contoura has been shown to pass both 60-second and 12-second vertical burn according to FAR 25.853a.
